Thanks for checking out my work!
I work in tech by day, and dream in paint by night. I've been drawing and painting since I can remember, and have never quite been able to shake the bug. If anything my obsession with figuring out how we perceive the world around us has only grown over time. I studied product design and engineering at Stanford, with a minor in fine arts and a part time job as the head of the Graphics department for The Stanford Daily. This ultimately lead me into interaction design and tech, where I've lead the development of products and programs in the San Francisco Bay Area for my professional career.
After doing portraits and figures for many years, I've recently transitioned my focus into landscape painting for a new and very different challenge, and am loving every minute of it. Although I'm not formally religious, I try to steal a few hours whenever I can to go to "Art Church" where I can be in the presence of God through nature, slow observation, and intentional creativity. Painting truly gives me that spiritual sense of being connected to something bigger than oneself. It is a very happy reset among the pressure of fast-paced silicon valley living.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

I look for interesting shapes, particularly formed by light, shadows, and trees. I really love trees, it turns out.
The bulk of my work is executed in water media, which is the most practical choice for me with two little "helpers" at home. I learned I need to buy kneaded erasers in bulk, as they tend to sprout legs.
Honestly, opening this website is a big highlight for my art career. It's a personal statement that what I'm doing is worth sharing. Thanks for being part of it!
